Conveniently located just 25 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, our 46 acre facility features everything the conscientious equestrian hopes to find.
SMEC features a modern, custom designed 16 stall barn with individual covered run-outs for each spacious stall. Our barn includes a full tack room and lounge, in-house wash bay, and accessible feed and hay storage.

With a brand new arena, 60' round pen, as well as an on-site covered arena with lighting, SMEC families can participate in hosted group classes, featured clinics, or just come to enjoy their time with their horse rain or shine.

Miles of trails are accessible directly from the barn. SMEC members can take in the privacy and quiet of our stunning country setting. No need to worry about neighbors or traffic. Just head down our 1 mile private drive, wave at the horses in the first pasture you pass across from the glittering 1 acre pond.

No lesson barn can be great without amazing horses. Our equine partners have been hand-picked for their disposition as well as their varied disciplines. Through our unique approach, our horses are balanced, happy, and capable partners for our students to learn from.
